DUN BY ZEB - barn name Zebby - a 1995 grulla
gelding by PRETTY BUCK ZEB
out of IMPRESSIVE LUPE. Zebby is my buddy and
self proclaimed "king of the ranch". I reluctantly sold Zebby in
1999, and after a brief tune-up with his trainer he moved to his new home
in Michigan. Zebby had been
away from home for months at a time while he was being shown, so it was
nothing new to him, but knowing this time he was gone forever I cried for weeks after he left. Although it may sound
corny, apparently we were both heart sick. I have to admit I was thrilled
when his buyer called and said she couldn't do a thing with him and was
going to sell him. Did I want him back? ABSOLUTELY. He may be a gelding,
but he keeps all the girls in line (except his big sis, Marvie - who is herd boss without question.)
Thank you Robin, for sending him home. And a special thanks to Aunt Doris
for making it possible to get him back. Not For Sale (never ever again).
