CONTESSAS LAST - 1988 silver grulla mare - 96% Foundation. "Tessa" was the last foal of CONTESSA PINE, a Paul Curtner bred daughter of POCO PINE. Contessa Pine was an AQHA Superior Halter mare and the dam of 2 AQHA Champions with foals earning over 1200 AQHA points in everything from Halter to Hunt Seat and Western Pleasure to Team Penning and earning over $20,000 in the NCHA. Tessa passed away June 27, 2007 at the age of 19. There will never be another one like her. |

PRETTY BUCKARETTE - 1998 grulla/gray mare - barn name Chigger - 95% Foundation, sired by PRETTY BUCK ZEB and out of Miss Happy Blackjack. Chigger was one of the most laid back horses you'll ever see. Born grulla without a single white hair. She had a huge hip and a very wide deep chest. Her disposition was the best and she produced awesome babies. Chigger was hit by lightning June 27, 2008 - one year to the day that we lost Tessa. |
