as a yearling at Pella Farms. He was our herd sire from 2006 through
2008. Zoom was sold because we retained his daughters.

aka "Big Girl" was purchased as a
yearling heifer. The calf at
her side is her 09 heifer by PFI ZOOM
417. Big Girl had twin bulls in 2008. She calved with no assistance, but
the calves were dead when we found them. She was up licking them, mooing
to them and trying to get them up. They were both fully formed
60 lb calves. She is an excellent mother.

Note: The steer calf to her right is an example of a YEARLING Beef Builder
Steer. He was already bigger than most of our cows and the two year old
Angus bull that was running with them last summer!!

pictured with her full brother behind her and her 09 heifer in front of
her. This was her second calf. She is a sweetheart to work with and she calved with no assistance.

extremely fertile. Mattie was consigned to a sale on May 22, 2010. On May
12, 10 days before the sale, Mattie delivered a full term bull calf by
C-section. We will be leaving Mattie open this year to heal and grow and
then she will be bred to our Dexter bull in 2011. |

In 2010 our cows were exposed to Z Alliance of MAF,
a registered Miller Angus bull June 10th through October 1st, 2009. Their
2010 calves are eligible
for registry with the BAA as Beef Builders .
